A very much loved documentary series in Norway, Tangerudbakken Borettslag ran for three seasons and managed to win over both the public and the critics, winning several Gullruten awards (The Norwegian Emmy). I wrote and produced the series' whistle-friendly intro tune, which was used for all three seasons of the original series in 2009-2011. At the same time as delivering the demo that would later become the final version of the intro, I had an alternate intro song too, which sounded like a slash between a Beach Boys song and the intro to Cheers. You would never be able to un-hear it.
After the three initial seasons of TANGERUDBAKKEN, my friend and colleague Raymond Enoksen has been re-arranging my original theme in a more symphonic flavour, for several spinoff series like TANGERUDDAMPEN and JUL I TANGERUDBAKKEN.
