Liv på Lørdag

After collaborating with actor/writer/puppet master Liv Gulbrandsen on JUBALONG, we continued our collaboration on the stage of Litteraturhuset in Oslo, for a monthly show for kids and their parents. Liv led this mad monthly event, while I was her sidekick music machine. Liv was reading from different children's books, and bringing in guests to talk about different themes, and at the same time teaching the kids words like "nachspiel" and making the whole audience scream the letters "ADHD" after my presentation of some rather hectic music. My own personal highlight of this show was accompanying Bare Egil Band on speed metal synth drums, on a live performance of his classic song "Sko". The show went on for three seasons, from 2008 to 2009. By then I guess the parents were starting to protest too loudly, and other stuff appeared to compete for the kids' attention, like iPhones.
